The next room has a strange-looking picture on the right side of the room. Stand in front of it and you will be given a choice, which leads to another choice, and then another choice, etc. This will cause the door to open leading into front hall.
There is a treasure chest on the right side of the balcony that contains a Barette. Return to the previous room and use the elevator at the back of the room to reach the next floor.

Level: 46 HP: 29, The most important thing to remember is to steal from Taharka until you obtain the Orichalcon the most powerful Dagger weapon in the game.
The battle against Taharka is an easy one. It has two different forms during the battle. When it is open it will use magic-based attacks and do the occasional physical attack Chop.
It will close at certain points of the battle at which point physical attacks do much less damage. You can inflict Taharka with a number of different status effects including Silence , Slow , Poison , Power Break and Armor Break , so make sure to inflict as many as you can to make the battle easier while Zidane attempts to successfully steal items.
Exit the area and travel all the way back to where Kumool the Moogle is located. Regardless of how you get the job done, Taharka isn't difficult.
Make sure you change your equipment back after Ipsen's Castle! You'll look a fool if you go in carrying a Dagger! Not as difficult as it seems, even though you have two characters. Earth Guardian uses physical attacks and the -ga spells every now and then, though its primary damage-dealer is Earthquake. If you're getting healed there will be virtually no need for Zidane or Quina to go on the defensive. All in all, not that difficult a fight so long as you come in prepared.
Upon defeating Earth Guardian the Shimmering Island to the southeast of Esto Gaza will come to life and begin, well, shimmering. Doing so triggers some of the final events of the game, however, and though you won't quite be locked out of the world map - not forever, anyway - many side dungeons will get cut off permanently upon your return.
Make sure you've fully explored the world before making the plunge. Email This BlogThis! Go through the door here. Here examine the wall at the bottom of the screen. At this stage of the game, you'd think a boss monster would realize that there are certain status weaknesses it just can't have if it wants a good chance at victory. Taharka, apparently, wasn't paying attention to that part, because without that it would be a reasonably difficult fight.
Taharka has two different states. When it's open, it will spam Blizzaga like there's no tomorrow, as well as using Chop for some physical damage. When closed, defense will skyrocket, and it only uses Ram, which is slightly stronger than Chop. As to strategy, it should be pretty clear if you checked the thing's stats or read the intro.
